Jon and Cami

My name is Jon Bourne. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska with my small but growing family: my wife, Caitlin, and our daughter, Camryn. In February, we are expecting an addition to the family. Names are pending.

I have lived in Fairbanks all my life. I graduated from Frontier High School in 2001, immediately after which I enrolled in the computer science program at UAF. In 2002, I applied for and was accepted into a job at the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner managing the company Web site. The News-Miner has been my employer since that time, and my experience there has been a good one.

I am seeking to broaden my educational horizons via courses in the online learning program of The Art Institute Online. I desire to further my education to better serve my employer as well as to learn more about emerging technologies and make myself more marketable to other potential employers. So, I am a full-time employee at the News-Miner, a full-time dad, and a full-time undergraduate student.
